Simple Saturday: Risotto Balls
Have you ever had an appetizer that you absolutely fell in love with?
I'm talking about one of those dishes that even though it's just a starter, you'll go back to the restaurant just to order it.
An item that makes your mouth water just thinking about the flavors and textures.
After the first time I tasted arancini (risotto balls), I quickly came to adore their mix of crunchy/creamy textures, the Italian seasonings and that you can totally make risotto even better by rolling it in breading and frying it!

Risotto for Everyone
When I married my husband, I knew that I was gaining a friend for life, someone who would always make me laugh and someone who would always take care of me.
But I didn't realize that I was also marrying an amazing chef...and a fantastic risotto maker.
I love to order risotto at restaurants.
Who can resist that creamy, cheesy, decadent rice?
But I thought it would be rather hard to make at home. Then, Jason jumped right in and decided to try it out and it has been fantastic every time he's made it.
