Ice Cream AND Pie

I've got a special treat for ya'll today! (Look at me being all Paula Deen-ish.)

It's a peanut butter pie. No.

It's an ice cream pie. No.

It's a peanut butter ice cream pie. Oh yes!

This summer dandy combines some of my favorite flavors: peanut butter, chocolate and ice cream.

And it's surrounded by a toasty, crumbly graham cracker crust. (Pssst: Use a store-bought crust to make your life easier. I won't judge you.)

I highly doubt you can find someone who won't like this pie and you'll especially enjoy it on a hot day.

It's cold and creamy with a little bit of crunch from the crunchy peanut butter and mini chocolate chips!

And, bonus, this recipe makes two pies so there's definitely enough to go around.

The only "hard" part about this recipe is that you will probably lose feeling in your hands for approximately 30 seconds while you mix the ice cream and peanut butter together.

Just suffer through it and know that it's a labor of love...a labor of sweet ice cream pie love.

I have to say thanks to my big sis, Hannah, and her friend Frances who took all of the photos in today's blog since I totally forgot about photographing my pie because I just wanted to eat it that bad. Hannah's pie may look a bit different than yours because she used regular-sized chocolate chips, but hey, anything goes.
